HCM tax clients experienced enhancements to our tax return preparation process, using new technology tools, TaxCaddy and SafeSend, to transmit important tax documents securely via digital formats.
TaxCaddy allows you to upload or snap photos of your tax documents year-round and store them in one location with bank vault security, electronically sign your tax returns from anywhere, and securely make your Federal and State tax payments.
SafeSend allows us to securely send tax returns for your review and approval.
Using these programs allows our clients to access their tax information across all platforms (computer, smartphone, tablet), electronically sign their federal and state e-file authorizations without having to print or mail anything, receive their tax return securely, and download a copy of their returns at their convenience.
We’ve had several positive responses from clients and our preparers who have used the new systems. One client told us: “The tax prep went smoothly. We liked electronic submission. It triggered a shift in our tax record retention. Since everything was in a PDF file we have ‘archived’ our source info and the returns.” It’s exciting for us to see over 50% of our clients already embracing these new, safe, and convenient technologies!
